Brewing news UK:Onchan pub sold by Heron and Brearley brewery

Grant Paterson, the company director confirmed the Follies building in Harbour Road, formerly Molly's Kitchen and Tavern were sold. He didn’t disclosed how much the deal was worth, who bought the property or comment on rumours the site could be cleared and planning permission sought for a housing development.

Mr Paterson stated that the pub has been a site the brewery had 'historically found difficult to operate'. That had sparked the decision to swap from having a licensee to tenancy agreements.
'We got to a point where it was really not making too much money so we went to a tenancy basis and sadly that has now gone the same way,' he said.

Mr Paterson said the value of the deal will be made public, but wouldn't speculate on the future of the site.
